Wedu was founded in 2012 to address the problem of the lack of female leaders in Asia across all sectors and industries. Since then, we have grown rapidly from 5 Rising Stars in our first cohort to over 500 inspiring women leaders today who are receiving mentorship, leadership training and financial support to achieve their professional, personal and academic goals.

A Global Community of Leaders

Wedu is committed to supporting 1,000 Rising Stars & Leadership Fellows by the end of 2018, which is only the first of many milestones if we aim to make 50% of all leadership positions filled by women a reality. We cannot achieve this goal alone and thus, are growing a global community of supporters who are invested in women’s leadership development. To date, Wedu’s community is over a few thousand people strong who support our changemakers in a variety of ways, ranging from Talent Spotters, Mentors, Corporate Partners, donors and supporters from around the world.
