Programme details

ELIGIBILITY

The Introduction to Leadership (ITL) course is open to women from South and Southeast Asia who are over 18 years old, proficient in English, and have leadership and change-making ambitions.

*At Wedu, we see gender as a matter of self-determination, and our definition of women includes cis women, trans women and everyone who identifies as a woman.

COURSE CONTENT

The ITL offers a comprehensive overview of leadership concepts, personal development tools, and strategies for navigating challenges.

Throughout the 8 weeks, course participants have access to reflective exercises anchored on our bespoke leadership model, and have the opportunity to connect and network with other course takers from around South and Southeast Asia.

By the end of the course, participants will develop at least two SMART goals aimed towards their leadership development.

The course includes eight modules:

  2. Ikigai
  3. Letter to Future Self
  4. Goal Setting
  5. Leadership Development Plan
  6. Self-Management
  7. Redefining Success
  8. Peer Review + Reflection

 

COURSE REQUIREMENTS

Internet Connectivity

Given the ITL course is fully online, it is advisable to have access to regular and reliable Internet. Our primary methods of communication regarding the course and other important information are email and WhatsApp.

Course Duration

The ITL is estimated to require 16 hours across 8 weeks of study.

Completion Policy

The course has a 100% completion requirement, and all course-takers must complete all exercises within the allotted time to graduate from the program and receive a certificate of completion.
