The Trailblazing MSME Award recognises leaders who challenge norms and open new pathways for others. Few embody this more than Cho, founder of Nectar Studio. Her entrepreneurial journey began not in comfort, but in crisis—when she fled Myanmar during the 2021 military coup after refusing to compromise her values. Relocating to Singapore while navigating unemployment and new motherhood, she transformed personal hardship into purpose, envisioning a solution for millions facing the same interview anxiety and lack of access to preparation she once experienced. Nectar Studio was born from this resilience and conviction, making professional interview coaching affordable and accessible to all.

Mobilising Change

Cho’s leadership is rooted in service. With over eight years mentoring with Wedu and as Chapter Lead of Women in Product Singapore, she has guided professionals through career transitions, empowered mothers returning to work, and advocated for women founders in tech. Nectar Studio extends this commitment—scaling mentorship through AI-powered coaching. By offering unlimited, role-specific practice, the platform directly tackles the financial and confidence barriers that hold back job seekers.

Through partnerships with educational institutions, early traction in Thailand, Singapore, and Myanmar, and a vision to reach 10,000 users within its first year, Cho is mobilising systemic change: creating confidence, employability, and economic mobility at scale.
